Hawaiian party – 25.6.22

Well, today was meant to be our Hawaiian garden party. Vicky and Chelsea spent all morning blowing up paddling pools and inflatables, and putting up decorations in the garden etc, and then the heavens opened, and the wind was howling, o at the very last minute we made the decision. To relocate to the main lounge, and play it safe. So we were a little disappointed, but we still had a good time. Ralph Shaw played the ukulele for and sang Hawaiian songs for us. We sang and danced, and had a good time together. We ended with playing cactus ring toss. We also said goodbye to India, one of our younger carers, who is leaving us, for personal reasons. She may return in the future. We will miss you India, you have a heart of gold!
