Two cars full of residents and relatives went along to the Philadelphia Club for the monthly Irish Tea Dance. It was the first time for Valerie Loft, Margaret Stocksbridge, Martin Loft, Pat Davis, Julie Warne and Win and they thoroughly enjoyed listening to live Irish music with J J Galway on accordion and keyboard. We had two dance couples on the floor, Win and her son, Steve and Martin and Valerie Loft. There was a hot and cold buffet and it was interesting to watch some of the more skilled dances doing some line dancing. What a brilliant time and it worked well not having to use taxis.
