A party of 10 of us enjoyed an excellent trip out to Goole to the Yorkshire Waterways Museum.
Great to have two couples with us, Colin and Susan and Margaret and Terry. The journey was relaxing and comfortable, being well looked after by our SCT driver, Julia. We had a picnic outdoors before looking round the museum. We boarded the Wheldale and had an historical guided trip down the river, looking at all the steel ships, barges, etc. We had a hot drink in the café before heading off back to Sheffield. Great day out but dependent upon good weather as boat open topped.
