Tracy led a Remembrance Sunday service in the small lounge. Margaret Seal, Olga, Marion Peck and Anne chose to attend. We sat round a table together enjoying a hot drink and talked about our personal memories of the war and those of our family who lost their lives. Margaret read out a poem called “The Soldier” and Tracy read out “Flanders Fields”. Tracy led us in a short service and we had two minutes silence to ‘remember’. We had a lovely social time together afterwards, playing a few games of dominoes.
