Residents enjoyed a joint birthday party today for Eddie (90 today), Susan (77 tomorrow) and Peggy (97 next Wednesday). We had booked a singer who couldn’t make it due to the snow so staff got out the karaoke machine and we created our own party atmosphere. We had great fun singing along to some lively tunes with many residents happy to sing into the mic and some enjoyed a dance or two. We sang “Happy Birthday” to each individual resident as they were presented with their own cake and they were thrilled to bits.
