Intergenerationals

This morning we had another lovely exciting visit from Sheffield Hallam University Nursery. The children and residents love these visits and everyone is always smiling and happy throughout with the children and residents making such beautiful bonds. Today, we sang some nursery rhymes together and then we played our favourite game of balloon tennis showing the children what they needed to do. We all enjoyed this game with lots of laughter and giggles. We had a snack together and then Edith and John requested more songs from the children so we sang and actioned Row, Row. Row Your Boat and the Grand Old Duke of York. The children also enjoyed looking at our two fish tanks. A lovely session and we can’t wait to see you all again next month.
