Residents enjoyed a performance from Majesty Choir this afternoon (12 singers from various churches in Sheffield). They sang a variety of upbeat songs, some we knew and could join in with and some we sat back and enjoyed. Some folk were moved to tears and some were smiling and clapping. Keith and Barbara seemed to especially enjoy this with Keith saying he wanted to join them at the front. Susan sang a song with a few of the ladies near the end and thoroughly enjoyed herself. Some of the singers are part of the Bannercross Ukulele Band that used to perform here many years ago and hope to reform and play again for us in the coming months.
