Crucible Tea Dance

Residents enjoyed the ever-popular monthly tea dance event at the Crucible this afternoon, which includes live singing from Susan St Nicholas and a cream tea. Great to be with so many residents from other care homes throughout Sheffield and some elderly folk and their families from the local community. It was Noreen’s first time and she knew all the songs and was singing quietly with “happy tears” over memories aroused by the familiar music. It was Gwyneth’s first time too and did some sit dancing and seemed to enjoy this very much. Carol has been before and was really into the dancing and singing, as was Diana who enjoyed the music and social stimulation.
