Residents enjoyed a colourful, beautifully decorated Halloween Party with some exciting games, including the Spider Splat game. Residents enjoyed watching the construction of Vampire Biscuits, using freshly made cookies, red jam, marshmallows and almonds. Difficult to resist. Residents seemed to appreciate staff making the effort to dress up and we played lots of Spooky music and many enjoyed a spot of dancing, clapping or sit-dancing. Six of our residents judged the Staff Halloween Costume Competition with 4 entrants – Peter as a Zombie, Chel as Bat Woman/Fallen Angel, Kirsty as the Dead Chef and Tracy as Madame Vamp. Kirsty was chosen and won a hamper of goodies. After the dancing, we enjoyed a top-class buffet together. What a fun night.
