This afternoon Vicky led two song sessions, one in the main lounge, and one in the conservatory. In the main lounge we started with the old song sheets and then sang some short songs from memory, like hookey kokey, show me the way to go home, I’m forever blowing bubbles. Everyone enjoyed the action songs best, by the end everyone was smiling. In the conservatory we used the new song books and sang some longer songs such as Annie’s song, Danny boy, Morning town ride, my old man’s a dustman etc. We had a giggle because Paula said, “Vicky sings so high only dog’s and small children can hear her!”
