We had a very relaxing morning in the lounge with music in the background and everyone happily settled looking at books or the newspaper. The gents sat round a table together looking at the morning papers and Mildred enjoyed the paper too. Helen asked who would like to look at books and gave out some nice old picture books with old songs and sayings. They prompted memories and a few people discussed where they met their husbands. We sang and said proverbs together though some people preferred to look at a book by themselves. Afterwards Helen visited people who were in their rooms to make sure that no one was left out.
