Babies!

This morning Helen got our second baby doll out who is called Charlotte and visited residents to see who would like a cuddle. Many residents did, and this prompted discussion about their own children with some residents. Some of us sang lullabies together too. We call the baby doll an” empathy doll” and it’s a great activity for those residents who aren’t able to join in with other activities as the instinct to cradle and cuddle still seems to come naturally. We also found a funny video on You Tube of laughing and playing babies which people enjoyed watching and laughing at.
