Five of us squeezed into Steve’s car today and headed off to the Irish Tea dance at the Philadelphia Club. We were warmly received, as always, and enjoyed a few dances (entertained by J J Galway), a lovely buffet, a couple of games of bingo and took part in the raffle. Win danced for most of the session with her son, Steve. Ann, Margaret and Tracy joined in for a few dances. Margaret reminisced about her childhood in County Claire and seemed happy to watch everyone (including two toddlers) having fun and kept pointing them out to me.
