We had a very enjoyable gardening club this afternoon with Caroline. The residents and day care users that participated were Nicole, Peggy, Jenny and her husband, Olga, Tricia, Pam C, Mildred and Margaret P. We passed around some cuttings and had a smell and a feel of them and discussed the flowers. We looked at pictures and reminisced and learnt some new facts. We re-potted some primulas together, as they had become pot bound. We finished with reading out poems about daffodils together. Some of the residents knew the poems off by heart and the rest of us read from a sheet. We really enjoyed this. Afterwards we had refreshments.
