We were very pleased to raise £70 for the Macmillan fund today. Grace and Ursula came joint first in the cake competition with their amazing chocolate brownie and lemon cheesecake creations. Rita made a wonderful lemon and almond gluten free cake, Julie Warne made an amazing plum and almond cake, Betty did some parkin and Tracy did a baking activity with Pam Crossland and Margaret Pashley so they entered coffee and walnut muffins. Richard, our chef, judged the competition and was very impressed with the quality of the entries.
