The students did a paper mache activity in the morning – sticking strips of paper to balloons and painting them when dry in the afternoon. A few enjoyed taking part of watching this. The residents were given activity booklets, especially printed by the students and many really engaged with this, completing some of the pages of interest with the students sat beside them for support and conversation. Lovely to have something the residents can keep to help them remember the week spent with the NCS.
