The NCS students and Tracy went for a walk with 4 residents in wheelchairs – Connie, Deborah, Pamela Crossland and Marjory with Nicole walking. First of all, we visited the local allotments and met Kat there (from Buzz) who invited us inside and showed us the new plot they are renting and we had a good look round and chat to her about all the different plants they are growing. Then, we walked to Gell Street Park and the students had a great time on the swings, trampoline, seesaw, etc. The residents enjoyed watching them and some young children who were playing. Then we headed back to the care home. Pamela enjoyed collecting lots of samples of plants and flowers on the way there and back.
