We celebrated Father’s Day and Lois’s Birthday with the help of Patrick and his band. The band played mostly Elvis songs. From the second the music started we had people up dancing and the ones who were sitting were clapping, tapping their feet to the music or swaying. Vicky, Helen and Debra came around dancing with us. We had lots of friends and family members come to join us for the party, which was lovely. At the end Vicky brought in a cake with lit candles on and we all sang to Lois. Vicky then brought in a Father’s Day cake and went around to our male residents and sang Happy Father’s Day to you, which was greatly appreciated. We ended with cake and hot drinks and chatting and socializing
