There was a service celebrating Pentecost at St Marks today and it was a pleasure to take Valerie Loft, Nicole and Marion Peck along to it. We met Martin there, Valerie’s husband. Andy (Tracy’s husband) joined us and it was good to have the church hall packed out with members from other churches, all joining together for this special service. The choir sounded fabulous, as always! We stayed for coffee and had a pleasant chat with Marion’s old friend Mary, who is a member of the church and has known Marion for 56 years!
