We had a wonderful afternoon, listening to some lovely familiar folk/childhood songs performed by Sheila’s family, who are all very musical. Robin played the piano and Sheila’s other three children, Jos, Philippa and Richard sang along. We were given song sheets so we could all join in. Florence, in particular enjoyed this very much. Great to see her smiling. It took many of us down “memory lane” with a few shedding “happy tears”. The lemon birthday cake was much appreciated (made by Margaret Saunders, Tracy and Helen) and it was good to sit around and chat at the end.
