Our 2nd Tea Dance at the Sheffield Jesus Centre was a success. We are going to tweak a few things before we have another one but all in all we think it was very enjoyable. We had six other care homes join us, including Twelve Trees care home, Darwin House, Moorend Place, Norbury Court, Abbey Grange and Ascot Lodge. We also had the company of some of our supporting toddler groups, Little Acorns and oaks and Acorns which were very popular! Altogether there were at least 60 of us attend! We had the lovely Heather Kass sing for us, and she was a big hit! Heather kindly did us the session for free. We hope to hire her again in the future, as she was very good! We enjoyed cream teas and a raffle draw in the interval, which was enjoyable. We had lots of chair dancing and actual dancing.
