We had a trip to the crucible for the tea dance. Vicky took Margaret Seal and Lillie in a taxi and Steve took Win in the car and Rita met us there.
We were brought hot drinks and scones as soon as we arrived, which we enjoyed. We had a young lady who sang for us, she had a beautiful voice! Vicky and Lillie had a few dances and Margaret and Rita did chair dancing. The singer came to our table and sang to us which was nice. The music made Lillie feel very emotional but both Lillie and Margaret expressed that they enjoyed it and were glad that they came.
