We left the care home in taxi and minibus around 2pm and arrived at the Quays for the long boarding process. Everyone felt safe and well looked after.
Wonderful to have so many old friends and relatives meet us there, including the families of Janet, Lillie, Pam, Connie Ball, Marion Peck and Joan. We took 14 residents altogether. We had even more people than last year, a grand total of 36! This was fabulous business for A & G Passenger Boats. Everyone enjoyed the top-quality cream tea and some of the guys were glad to have a pint. The rain kept off and we enjoyed the guided tour from Dorrie. The boat trip lasted for about an hour and a half and it was good to see all the wildlife and historical places of interest.
