We are having another of musical themed events - this time it's Country & Western Day. Come and join us for some Dolly Parton, Jim Reeves and much more.
We are celebrating Win's 91st birthday with an Irish singer whom she met at one of the Irish Tea dances and she really enjoys his music. Everyone invited to join us at 3pm with chocolate cake afterwards. Should be good fun, especially for the Irish amongst us.
Exercise is a very important part of life. Some love to stay seated and do chair aerobics, others like to "sit-dance" a few like to get up and boogie! For others a short walk to a local park or the shops is very beneficial.

Caroline Cook has now established her Gardening Club which will take place in the conservatory (with ready access to the garden) once a month from 3 - 4pm. Everyone welcome to come and join in.
We have decided to incorporate a "Pamper Day" with our hairdresser visit. This has proved very successful so far, with many of our ladies enjoying having a makeover and wearing a pretty scarf for their photo shoot. Even the chaps like to wear a posh tie and cap.

We hope to hire an SCT minibus and driver to take us to another of these monthly dementia friendly museum events. This one will be at Kelham Island Museum. We will be served cake and drinks from 1.30pm with an opportunity to have a look round the museum and look at artifacts in person. There […]
