Vicky is taking a small group of residents along to this Fair on Bank Holiday Monday. Leaving at 10.30am and be back in time for lunch. All friends and family welcome to offer lifts/accompany us.

We have decided to incorporate a "Pamper Day" with our hairdresser visit. This has proved very successful so far, with many of our ladies enjoying having a makeover and wearing a pretty scarf for their photo shoot. Even the chaps like to wear a posh tie and cap.

Caroline Cook has now established her Gardening Club which will take place in the downstairs lounge (with ready access to the garden) once a month from 1.30 - 3pm. Everyone welcome to come and join in.
Gina has been coming to the Hallamshire for many years and is skilled in massage therapy and Reiki healing.

Exercise is a very important part of life. Some love to stay seated and do chair aerobics, others like to "sit-dance" a few like to get up and boogie! For others a short walk to a local park or the shops is very beneficial.

The Winding Wheel in Chesterfield have matinee screenings suitable for our residents. Tickets cost £3 and this includes tea and cake. We are holding a new Tea Dance at the Jesus Centre on Brunswick Street, Which is open to the community, our supporting toddler group and three local care homes. The price will be £3 per adult. The cafe will remain open if people would like to stay for lunch.
