Residents enjoyed a brilliant day out today on the Ethel barge trip for Norah’s birthday. We set off from Thorne on a 6 hour trip up the canal and back again which was full of a variety of scenery and wildlife which was really nice. Everyone had a lot of fun and we even got to open some of the locks, turn the bridges and drive the boat.
