We had a small Halloween party, organised by Vicky. We had simple Halloween decorations hung throughout the care home. We had activity tables with themed colouring, craft activities and a photobooth style one with selfie props. Vicky, Kristian (her son), and the staff served us drinks in china cups and saucers and we sat and chatted and listened to the music. We did a quiz that Vicky had made and six of us tied, so we shared a box of liquorice allsorts around. We followed with a buffet tea. Mary and her daughter Julie were good sports and wore witches’ hats. Next year we have agreed to do fancy-dress and face painting! I was lovely to have some relatives join us and one of the staff brought in her toddler, which everyone enjoyed.
