This morning we made some pumpkin lanterns with Vicky and Kristian in the dining room. We hollowed out the pumpkins and drew faces on them and had a go at carving. When we were too tired Kristian helped us to finish them off. We had a family with young children who came to look around and they joined us at the table and had a go too! When we had finished Vicky put fake tea lights in them to look like lanterns. A few of the residents had a taste of the pumpkin flesh out of curiosity and liked the taste.
