Residents enjoyed a small Remembrance Day service in the conservatory. They read out some psalms and prayers on the subject of peace, strength and death. They also listened to an informative essay by Fiona Reid on the history of Remembrance Day. John read out The Soldier by Rupert Brooke and Clarice readout In Flanders Fields by John McCrae. They finished off by watching the ceremony in London and having a two-minute silence.
