We had another fabulous Summer Gala in the beautiful grounds of the Hallamshire Care Home.
Weather was gorgeous, even better than the forecast and loads of people turned up to support the event at various times throughout the afternoon. An Abba Tribute Band got us all swaying and dancing and singing along. They were amazing. Thank you to all those who dressed up for the part – Tracy, Vicky, Jo, Becky, Sandra, Zoe and others. Well done. Most of the residents were able to sit in the garden and enjoy the sights and sounds. We had 20 raffle prizes this year, with Tony and Olga winning the top prize – Sheffield United Football tickets. We raised £341 towards the Activity Fund and offer a huge thank you to all those who manned the various stalls, bought raffle, tombola tickets as well as cakes/fudge/lemon curd/plants and other crafts. A big thank you to all the staff who very hard to give everyone a brilliant day.
