We had a lovely time with Little acorns toddler group visit! We had 5 mums and 6 children, including a 6-month-old baby attend today.
The residents who attended were Anne, Marion P, Tricia, Olga, Sue, Margaret P, Margaret S and Sheila. We started with a bit of free play and chatting. We followed with a music session, taking it in turns at choosing nursery rhymes and singing them together, using musical instruments or clapping our hands or doing the actions together. We had two stories today, one read by Vicky and one read by our new resident Tricia, who has a real gift for reading aloud and was fabulous! Our messy play today was decorating cookies, using icing tubes, which everyone participated in. Vicky got out some bubbles and blew them for the children to catch. We ended with themed musical statues. Fun was had by all. We are meeting up in two weeks’ time at Medieval Mayhem to celebrate breaking up for summer.
