We had a record number of visitors attend our Little Acorns toddler this week! We had 7 parents and 9 children altogether! We decided that as it was a beautiful day, we should have the group outside on the patio, in a very shaded spot. We started with free play and chat time, followed by a song time, which both old and young seemed to enjoy. We did some free painting, some of the children doing hand and foot prints, some did pictures and gave them to another grown up and some worked on projects with our residents, so that was nice! We had a snack, listening to Vicky read a couple of story books. We ended with themed musical statues. The next craft activity will be decorating biscuits. We are also considering hiring a punch and Judy style puppet show. Watch this space!
