We went to the Weston Park May Fair with Vicky and Becky. We travelled by taxi and met Betty there. We sat on a bench while we had sun cream and hats put on and then we had snacks and cold drinks.
We had a walk around and looked at the various stalls and chatted with the people that we met. We had a dance with “The Bee Gees” which the residents absolutely loved! We sat in fold up chairs and listened to a live brass band in the restored Victorian bandstand. We saw a Helter-Skelter and various children’s rides. We watched a comedy duo that were dressed up as St John’s Ambulance which gave us a good laugh. The weather was beautiful. It was safe to say that we had a lovely trip out.
