Sheila’s daughter, Jos, and her folk band known as ‘Splinter’ came to entertain us for the afternoon. They played a wide range of instruments – Northumbrian pipes, whistle, concertina, cello, harmonica and guitar.
Sounded wonderful and it got a lot of us dancing, even if it was just in our seats. They are more than welcome to come again – any time. Plus, Susan was grateful for their help with the crosswords and she even did a spot of tap dancing in appreciation.
