Residents enjoyed a very romantic Valentine Party with a karaoke singalong at the start. Then we listened to some wonderful tunes on record from the Victor Sylvester orchestra and then we progressed to some Latin Samba and Cha Cha Cha music. Great to have staff dressed up for the part and most of our residents either danced or sit-danced and seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. We got out the bone china and had a lovely buffet tea with lots of exciting desserts on offer. It is Marky’s 99th birthday tomorrow so we gave her a birthday cake and sang “Happy Birthday” which she thought was wonderful.
