We had another exciting Godly Play story in the small lounge, or as it is now going to be named, “Stories for the Soul”.
We started off by singing, “He’s got the whole world in his hands”, led by Tracy on the guitar. We changed the words each time to personalise it for each resident and visitor. The room was packed as we had lots of volunteers and new visitors attending – 20 on all!! Tracy took us through the story of Jonah and the whale with use of props. We had a discussion time to see what people thought about the story, with cake and tea/coffee afterwards.
