At 10am on Christmas morning Father Christmas gave us a visit and brought smiles to many faces. He handed out presents to each resident, he even had one for Kristian! (Vicky’s son).
Vicky and Joanna helped the residents unwrap their gifts and read Christmas cards to them. The gifts were then placed in each person’s bedroom to ensure that none were lost or mixed up with other peoples presents. Lots of families came to visit and some even joined us for Christmas dinner, which made the day even more special. Vicky decorated the tables ready for Christmas dinner complete with crackers and the beautiful table centre-pieces that we made in gardening club. Jamie our chef made a delicious Christmas dinner with the choice of turkey, pork or beef, followed by Christmas pudding and custard .A magical day was had by all.
