We had a lovely Remembrance Service in the Green Lounge using the interactive tablet to listen to and read the words of the songs on the screen. John and Gill both read poems of Remembrance and we followed a service sheet to help us focus and pray together. We had a minute’s silence and listened to the Last Post bugle call and watched a few other performances on YouTube whilst having refreshments. A time to share and remember. Good to show off the poppy paintings we did during the week and admire a knitted popular display borrowed from a local church.
