Two wonderful ladies from Ireland came to sing and play the keyboard for us. They walked around greeting the residents and introducing themselves, asking what music people enjoyed.
Good to have Nicky (Lost Chord volunteer) to support our performance again. We sang along to familiar songs, played tambourines and some of us danced. The ladies were impressed with Susan’s tap dancing and played a song especially for Susan who tap-danced whilst we all clapped in rhythm. We ended with a few Christmas songs. Joan said it was the best one she’d ever been to! Susan kept saying “How lovely” after each song and the audience gave a huge applause at the end to show their heart-felt appreciation.
