We celebrated Janet’s birthday with coffee and walnut cake and a sing-a-long with Beki who performed a selection of songs from the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s.
Some fabulous dancing from Florence, Janet, Marjorie, Terry, Deborah, Lillie, Susan and Olga plus sit-dancing from Wendy and Doreen. Many sang along and really enjoyed the afternoon and Olga revelled in the opportunity to do a duet with Beki singing Edelweiss. Especially great to have Janet’s, Margaret Pashley’s and Florence’s relatives there to help add to the atmosphere. Many enjoyed looking at Janet’s life history board.
