We had a very lively “disco” in the main lounge over teatime and into the early evening. Many folk enjoyed a dance/sit dance or two and liked looking at the record sleeves and remembered the words to many of these old tunes, especially the staff! We also enjoyed listening to some Carpenters tunes and even Des O’Connor, when we needed time to catch our breath. Great to have so many staff and volunteers helping out to make the event a great success. Many thanks to the kitchen staff who prepared a lovely buffet and supplied some old fashioned fizzy pop – Dandelion & Burdock, Cloudy Lemonade and Pink Lemonade.
