We had a lovely baking activity this morning with lots of folk taking part in the conservatory i.e. Clarice, Peggy, Edith, Jenny and Sheila, with Lilian supervising. Many of us chose to have a go at creaming together the mixture, placing muffin cases into patty tins, cutting out icing shapes and placing “Jubilee” toppers on the buns (a late activity for the occasion but a very rewarding one). Everyone was impressed with the result and the smell was tremendous! We talked about all our favourites we used to bake for our families.
