Tracy took a small group in taxi to this new event which is being organised by Kath Horner. We arrived at Ponds Forge and were shown to the Skyline Suite.
We arrived early so we could eat our picnic and a lot of the other residents from care homes had the same idea. Unfortunately, it was a boiling hot day and there was no air conditioning so a bit too hot for much dancing, though Marion and Connie did have a go. They hope to open up the area next time to try and make it cooler. Susan St Nicholas performed some of our old favourites and the home-made scones and coffee was excellent. Hope to go to the next one in June with a larger group.
