This afternoon Alan Turner, an X Factor finalist, sang for us to help us celebrate Norah’s 90th Birthday. We had a good attendance at the party. Alan sang a good mixture of fast and slower songs, which gave us a chance to rest between dancing. Every resident either got up and had a dance, or had a chair dance. Norah was in good spirits, and enjoyed it when we all sang Happy Birthday to her, and presented her with the birthday cake. It was a very enjoyable party, and we all cooled down at the end with refreshments.
