This afternoon we had a Songbirds session (Which Vicky calls choir practice) led by Yo Tozer-Loft. We had 11 attendees today, which was great! We sang a wide variety of songs, which all of the residents knew off by heart. We started with “Welcome everybody”, which we did the actions to. We used the percussion eggs, rainbow rope, and coloured scarves. When we sang Jerusalem a few of us felt emotional as it’s a beautiful, meaningful song. We ended with Auld lands Eine.
