Today is the Queens birthday, so Vicky did a Royal family themed session for us this morning. We sang there’ll always be an England, and God save the queen, whilst waving Union Jack flags. Vicky brought in a plastic crown and tiara, and we all tried them on and Vicky pronounced us royalty of the Hallamshire. We looked at some souvenir crown jewels and mugs, books, pictures and magazines and had lots of reminiscing going on about jubilees, street party’s and parades that we remember etc. We ended with watching the Queens official birthday on TV. It was quite an enjoyable morning
