This afternoon Vicky got out the new fishing game. This is similar to the hook-a-duck game that we have, but we needed new fishing rods, as we were down to two, so Vicky thought why not try something a bit different. From now on we could get both sets out, the fishing one in the little pool at the table, and a portable tray with the ducks on, for those that can’t get to the table very easily. It was a very relaxed afternoon; a lot of people had a go. Upstairs, the pros were Marion S, and Pam, Downstairs the pro was Edith. They made it look dead easy. We had some good conversations and as always a giggle or two. Vicky is going to buy a couple of little fishing nets, so that people who struggle with sight, or a steady hand, can still participate.
