This morning in nature club we made some bird feeders with Vicky. She put on some nature sounds on her phone, of streams and bird song and we felt as though we were in the woods! We threaded cereal hoops and grapes onto pipe cleaners and twisted a couple together. We had a little sing song, singing any songs that we could think of with birds in the song, such as Feed the birds, Little bird Little bird, birdie song etc, and had a chat and a giggle together. Vicky put on the Natural History Museum YouTube channel on in the main lounge with the free concert called, The lost words spell songs, which was very relaxing nature sounds and music. At the end of the session, we surprised Vicky with a delicious looking chocolate fudge cake, and sang happy birthday to her, as today is her birthday. After our mid morning snack Edith and Olive helped Vicky to hang the bird feeders in the trees)
