This morning we did some paper mache with Vicky. This is stage 1 of our project for St Georges day morning. We started by shredding some newspaper and tissue paper, then spread some glue onto the balloon. When we had coated the balloon in glue, we added some strips of newspaper, and kept going until there wasn’t any bare bits. We kept repeating until we had quite a few layers. We learnt that newspaper was loads better than tissue paper for this project. When we had finished Vicky put the balloon to dry in the conservatory. In step 2 we will be adding some extra bits and painting it. Watch this space and see if you can guess what it is going to be!
