This morning Helen bought Jasper and Cleo, the mechanical cats out to see us. Almost everyone loves to stroke, cuddle and groom them so she went around everyone and invited those who wanted to, to spend some time with the cats. They purr, miaow and move, and most people find them really comforting and therapeutic. Residents who were in their rooms also had the opportunity to have a cuddle. It’s a good time to talk about old pets and do a bit of reminiscing too.
